Report on completed leave

Under the Mental Health Act 1983, responsible medical officers need the Secretary of State’s consent before granting leave from hospital to detained restricted patients. The role of the Ministry of Justice in the management of restricted patients is to protect the public from serious harm. This pro-forma should be used by RMOs to report on leave which has been granted.
