Volunteers Can: Towards a volunteering strategy to reduce re-offending
This document sets out the principles we believe necessary for volunteering to develop and fulfil its potential. This consultation paper has proposed a series of actions to achieve this, and has suggested key responsibilities for NOMS, the Regional Offender Managers, individual prisons, probation areas and other service providers.
We are seeking views and opinions on the wider focus of the strategy from NOMS, prisons and probation staff, and other service providers from the private, voluntary and faith sectors.
This consultation closed on 10 August 2007.
